It was announced last year that the Tower of God anime series will be produced. Now the “Tower of God Animation Partners” production committee has revealed that Aniplex’s owned subsidiary Rialto Entertainment will produce the anime series “for the region of Japan.”
The series’ animation will be produced under the title “Kami no Tō: Tower of God“ in Japan. In addition, the key visual also revealed that the show will be begin broadcast in Spring 2020.
Korean creator SIU, real name Lee Jong-hui, launched Tower of God manhwa in 2010 as the first story in the “Talse Uzer” universe. The Webtoon has been translated into Japanese and English by Naver. Tower of God received a mobile game in 2013 developed by Sunrise. The series follows a boy named Bam, who enters a tower to chase after his friend Rachel and get her back.
Tower of God centers around a boy called Twenty-Fifth Bam, who has spent most of his life trapped beneath a vast and mysterious Tower, with only his close friend, Rachel, to keep him company. When Rachel enters the Tower, Bam manages to open a door into it as well, and faces challenges at each floor of this tower as he tries to find his closest companion
