The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers will allegedly feature in the new season of the Power Rangers. Licensing details for Hasbro’s Festival of Licensing in October has hinted that the first Rangers team will debut next with the new Power Rangers Dino Fury team.
Season 28 of Power Rangers will also debut next year, with Power Rangers: Dino Fury journeying back to the core roots of the brand, with the action being led by the original five Rangers.
This will make perfect sense if Hasbro trying to stay true to Kishiryu Sentai RyuSoulger’s source material. In RyuSoulger members of the team had previous Rangers as a master or mentor who trained them since childhood. We also saw some the master help their former student over obstacle in the series once they became Rangers. Hasbro is currently developing a Power Rangers movie reboot that will allegedly center around the Rangers being sent back in the1990s. It could also explain why Hasbro chose to use the Dino theme again for the new Power Rangers Series. Maybe the Dino Fury will have some kind of connection with the new movie and open a pathway for the Mighty Morphin to be cast in the film.
When an army of powerful alien beings is unleashed on Earth, threatening life as we know it, a brand-new team of Power Rangers, fueled by the pre-historic power of the dinosaurs, are recruited to deal with the threat.
The new Power Rangers show will be based on the Super Sentai series Kishiryu Sentai RyuSoulger, the 43rd Sentai team. The RyuSoulger aired from March 17, 2019, to March 1, 2020, succeeding Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger VS Keisatsu Sentai Patranger and following the four weeks special Super Sentai Strongest Battle. The show is the fourth Super Sentai series to use the dino theme, having been preceded by as well as the first to use the knights’ theme. Kishiryu Sentai RyuSoulger is considered to be the final Heisei era series although the series primarily aired in the Reiwa era.
