Mashin Sentai Kirameiger team are set to make their debut in the Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger VS Keisatsu Sentai Patranger and Kishiryu Sentai Ryusoulger crossover movie on February 8, but it looks like we will have to wait a little longer before the new Super Sentai team make their official debut in their own series. A Facebook translation from the recently released magazine scans has revealed that the series will allegedly debut on March 8, 2020 (Sun) starting at 9 AM. Additionally, the translation also describes the team as 5 people who have a shiny spirit of the “KiraMental” make up the spirit of magic! The strongest team of heroes, guard Earth against the hands of the evil Yodon Army!
In another news, each Kirameiger will have a sword- KiramaSword and a gun weapon- KiramaShot. The blade seems to be shorter in Buster mode and can be combined to form KiramaBuster. So far Red seems to be the only one with enough “KiraMental” to use the Buster. Red, Green, and Yellow will have land type of vehicles, while Blue and Pink have air type of vehicles. The team’s official symbol is a crown of gems. Their henshin changer has the images of the mechas on the “magic circle” confirming that the show will have machines and magic themes.
Mashin Sentai Kirameiger will officially be revealed in the January 2020 issue of Televi-Kun coming December 26. Takemoto Noboru is apparently the show’s director, and Koumura Junko is the screenwriter. Nakagawa Koutarou is in charge of the music composition and Fukuzawa Hirofumi is the action director. Hida Hiroshi is the series’ SFX director.
Mashin Sentai Kirameiger is the 44th season of Super Sentai and will succeed in Kishiryu Sentai Ryusoulger. It is also the first Super Sentai show in the Reiwa era in Japan.
The Super Sentai series was created by manga artist Shotaro Ishinomori. The first Super Sentai Series titled “Himitsu Sentai Gorenger” aired in Japan from 1975 to 1977. The second series J.A.K.Q. Dengekitai was released in 1977.
