The Seven Deadly Sins author reveals the manga still has one more volume left.

The Seven Deadly Sins manga still has one more volume left before the series ends. The Seven Deadly Sins manga author Nakaba Suzuki shared on his official Twitter account color printing proof for the manga’s 40th volume which shows the Author’s Note stating that the series still has “one more volume left” after volume 40 which will be released on February 17.

Weekly Shonen Magazine announced last year that the manga’s 315th chapter, titled “Farewell, ‘The Seven Deadly Sins,'” would be the series’ final chapter, however, the manga continued. Suzuki revealed in 2018 that he planned The Seven Deadly Sins ending since the beginning of the manga. The author noted that he plans to give series an ending worthy of a shōnen magazine.

Nakaba Suzuki debuted the original manga series in Weekly Shōnen Magazine in 2012. A-1 Pictures produced the first Seven Deadly Sins TV anime series adaptation that premiered in Japan in 2014 and 2015. The anime second season aired from January 13, 2018, to June 30, 2018. An anime film titled “The Seven Deadly Sins the Movie: Prisoners of the Sky” was released on August 18, 2018. The Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath of the Gods “Nanatsu no Taizai: Kamigami no Gekirin” anime series began broadcast on October 29, 2019.
