The Boys is one of the most popular comic book television series at the moment and Amazon is looking to expand the universe based on the comic book of the same name by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson.
Deadline is reporting that Amazon is working on a new The Boys series. The new show, which is a spinoff, will be based around college-aged superheroes at a school run by Vought International. The series is being developed by series’ writer and producer Craig Rosenberg.
The untitled television series is described as “part college show and part Hunger Games, [it] follows the lives of hormonal, competitive Supes as they put their physical, sexual, and moral boundaries to the test, competing for the best contracts in the best cities.”
It’s uncertain if The Boys or The Seven will also be featured on the spinoff, but reading the show’s description, it is unlikely that either of the team will make it. The Boy‘s third season has also been ordered by Amazon.
