The Batman: Robert Pattinson says donning the Bat-Suit makes you feel powerful.

Back in June DC Comics and Warner Bros. unveiled Robert Pattinson as the new Bruce Wayne in Matt Reeves’s Batman. Now the actor has described how it feels to don the cape and cowl.

“It’s maybe the craziest thing I’ve ever done in terms of movie stuff,” he told Variety. “I put it on. I remember saying to Matt, ‘It does feel quite transformative!’ He was like, ‘I would hope it does!!! You’re literally in the Batsuit.’”

“You do feel very powerful immediately and it’s pretty astonishing, something that is incredibly difficult to get into, so the ritual of getting into it is pretty humiliating. You’ve got five people trying to shove you into something. Once you’ve got it on, it’s like, ‘Yeah I feel strong, I feel tough, even though I had to have someone squeezing my butt cheeks into the legs.’”

Reeves The Batman will feature a younger Batman/Bruce Wayne. The movie is said to be more comic accurate than any other Batman movie to date. The film is reportedly a standalone movie and will allegedly launch a new DC Cinematic Universe. The Batman will introduce allegedly introduce a new version of Robin, The Penguin, Catwoman, The Riddler, Alfred Pennyworth, and Commissioner Gordon.

The live-action movie adaptation of DC Comics’ Batman will allegedly start filming late 2019 or early 2020, due to the scripts still being polished. The Batman will be released in theaters on June 25, 2021.
