Fans will get a brand new at Kirito and Asuna when Sword Art Online: Progressive takes us back to Aincrad. Aniplex unveiled at the AnimeJapan 2021 a new trailer and key visual for Sword Art Online the Movie Progressive: Aria of a Starless Night (Gekijō-ban Sword Art Online: Progressive Hoshi Naki Yoru no Aria). The animation studio released new character designs for Kirito, Asuna, and Mito.
Inori Minase will join the cast as the voice of Mito. Yoshitsugu Matsuoka and Haruka Tomatsu are returning as the voice cast for Kirito and Asuna respectively. Ayako Kawano (The Seven Deadly Sins the Movie: Prisoners of the Sky) is directing the film at A-1 Pictures. Kento Toya (Sword Art Online: Alicization – War of Underworld) is designing the characters. Yasuyuki Kai is the action director, and Yuki Kajiura will compose the music.
The English-sub trailer also revealed that Sword Art Online the Movie Progressive: Aria of a Starless Night will premiere this fall.
