Early this week a new clip from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker drop a bombshell when it revealed that Emperor Palpatine was Snoke all this time and also the Darth Vader’s voice that Kylo Ren has been hearing through the helmet in The Force Awakens. Now another clip from the Star Wars sequel trilogy has revealed that Kylo Ren knows Rey’s origins and parents. The new TV spot features new footage were Kylo tells Rey, “I know who you are. I know the rest of your story.” Before cutting to Rey against a desert backdrop, followed by Palpatine’s laughter.
If you remember, in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Kylo Ren told Rey that her parents were nothing more than “filthy junk traders” who sold her off for drinking money. Something that caused an outrage among fans who were expecting Rey to be linked to one of the major Star Wars bloodlines.
