Star Wars: The Bad Batch Teases Emperor Palpatine.

Emperor Palpatine’s involvement could spell trouble for the members of the Clone Force 99.

The latest poster has revealed that Star Wars: The Bad Batch will feature more than a band of mischiefs. Disney took to Twitter to share the official poster for the upcoming Disney+, the biggest surprise is that the poster features Palpatine, teasing that the emperor will have some kind of influence in the new Star Wars animated series. See below.

This poster shows the members of the Clone Force 99, a.k.a. the Bad Batch, – Hunter, Echo, Tech, Wrecker, and Crosshair – taking center stage alongside the new child while the Emperor’s dark presence hovering above. This seems that the Bad Batch will be a bigger threat to the empire than the series’ trailer led us to believe.

In addition, Lucasfilm and The Walt Disney Company released a new emoji of Hunter, leader of the Bad Batch.

The series follows the elite and experimental clones of the Bad Batch (first introduced in The Clone Wars) as they find their way in a rapidly changing galaxy in the immediate aftermath of the Clone War. Members of Bad Batch — a unique squad of clones who vary genetically from their brothers in the Clone Army — each possess a singular exceptional skill, which makes them extraordinarily effective soldiers and a formidable crew. In the post-Clone War era, they will take on daring mercenary missions as they struggle to stay afloat and find a new purpose.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch, an Original Series, arrives May the 4th on Disney Plus.
