Last August, we reported Chinese anime series Ling Long: Incarnation (Spirit Cage: Incarnation) will be receiving a second season. There are reports that the second season of the donghua anime is scheduled for July 31. The series staff members have not made an official announcement yet, so it will wise to take this with a grain of salt. The new episodes were scheduled for a 2020 release, but we are guessing it was delayed due to the spread of the new coronavirus (COVID-19) like many other donghua productions.

Spirit Cage: Incarnation anime’s first season’s six first episodes aired from Jul 13, 2019, to Sep 21, 2019. The second season will allegedly have 6 episodes like the first season. The original net animation is produced by YHKT Entertainment.

In the not-too-distant future, the human world has long been overpopulated. Humanity marched to the stars in search of a new home, and just as this was going on, the moon’s alignment caused massive earthquakes to ripple across the world, lasting several decades. Humanity was demolished. When the land finally recovered, humanity reemerged to face this strange yet familiar world. Will we, who once lorded over this domain, still remain the masters of this world?

The Last Summoner Donghua Delayed Indefinitely.
