It’s not sure if Osborn will make a full appearance in the movie, but we are guessing he will be teased in the credit scene as the Green Goblin following last month tease from Empire Magazine subscriber only cover which pays tribute to The Amazing Spider-Man #311 (1989) by Todd MacFarlane, which features the return of Mystrio and the Hobgoblin.

In the comic book issue #312, a demonic horde lead by N’astirh invading New York due to a dimensional tear forcing Osborn to return as the Green Goblin to save his family. The comic book story seems pretty close to Far from Home plot which will see Spider-Man team up with Mystrio to stop the Elementals from destroying Europe after Thanos snap opened up a dimensional tear in Avengers: Endgame.

We are just guessing but it was also reported that Marvel a very significant role for the Green Goblin in the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Do you think it’s all just a coincidence?
