Comicbook.com reporting that production on the 3rd untitled Spider-Man will begin in July and expected to run through November 2020. Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures will apparently shoot the Atlanta, New York City, Los Angeles, and Iceland!
Spider-Man 3 filming in Iceland is what got people’s attention. The location could be hinting at Kraven the Hunter involvement in the film. In the comics, Kraven, real name Sergei Kravinoff, is a Soviet immigrant and the son of an aristocrat who fled to the United States with his family after the Russian nobility was decimated by the February Revolution.
Director Jon Watts recently revealed that he “would love Kraven,” in the movie and ” It’s just the trick of how do you do Kraven in a movie?”
Now that Spider-Man secret identity hasn’t been revealed to the world and Peter Parker is a wanted criminal, Kraven hunting the web-slinger could be a possibility.
Kraven was created by writer Stan Lee and artist Steve Ditko. The character made his first appearance in The Amazing Spider-Man #15 published in August 1964. Kraven ability includes Ultra Instinct, Enhanced physical attributes, Skilled tactician, tracker, and hand to hand combatant.
