Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings Official Trailer Released.

The Mandarin asks Shang-Chi to return home and take his place as the leader of The Ten Rings in the new trailer.

As we previously reported, Marvel Studios surprised fans today with the first official trailer for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. The trailer gives us our first official look at Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, Tony Leung as The Mandarin, Nora Lum as Katy, Fala Chen as Jiang Li, Meng’er Zhang as Xialing, Florian Munteanu as Razor Fist, Ronny Chieng as Jon Jon, and Michelle Yeoh as Jiang Nan. It looks like the event of the movie will be set in motion when The Mandarin, Shang-Chi’s father, tracks him to return home and replace him as the leader of The Ten Rings.

Destin Creston is directing Marvel Studios’ first Asian lead superhero movie with Chinese-American writer Dave Callaham (Wonder Woman 1984, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse 2). Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is scheduled to be released on September 3, 2021, as part of Phase Four of the MCU.
