Rumble: WWE and Paramount release film trailer.

WWE and Paramount Animation began streaming the official trailer for Rumble, an animated film set in a world where humans coach monsters to be wrestlers. The animated movie was directed by Hamish Grieve with a script from Etan Cohen and Matt Lieberman. The film is based on Monster on the Hill by Rob Harrell.

In a world where giant monsters are super athletes and compete in popular professional wrestling global sport, monster wrestling, teenage Winnie (Geraldine Viswanathan) seeks to follow in her father’s footsteps as a manager by coaching a lovable underdog yet-inexperienced monster (Will Arnet) into a champion so that he can go up against the reigning champion Tentacular (Terry Crews).

Rumble main cast includes Will Arnett, Terry Crews, Geraldine Viswanathan, Joe “Roman Reigns” Anoa’i, Tony Danza, Becky Lynch, Susan Kelechi Watson, Stephen A. Smith, Jimmy Tatro, Ben Schwartz, and Michael Buffer. The film also features some well-known actors, and numerous WWE Superstars.

Rumble is due out in theaters on January 29, 2021.
