Rogue One: A Star Wars Story sequel series in the works.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will be getting a television series sequel. Diego Luna will star as Cassian Andor, and Alan Tudyk will also return as K-2SO in the series. The Star Wars television series start filming begin in London in 2020.

The series will be a “rousing spy thriller [that] will explore tales filled with espionage and daring missions to restore hope to a galaxy in the grip of a ruthless Empire.”

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story was released in 2016. The film directed by Gareth Edwards with a screenplay by Chris Weitz and Tony Gilroy and from a story by John Knoll and Gary Whitta. It is the first installment of the Star Wars anthology series. The film grossed over $1 billion worldwide.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will stream exclusively on Disney+.
