Author Rick Riordan has announced that a Percy Jackson live-action series is in development at Disney+. Riordan revealed that the series will follow the original Percy Jackson five-book series storyline, starting with The Lightning Thief in season one. The author says that Disney is planning to produce a series of the highest quality.
Percy Jackson is the first book series in the Camp Half-Blood Chronicles. The franchise has five books in the series including, The Lightning Thief (2005), The Sea of Monsters (2006), The Titan’s Curse (2007), The Battle of the Labyrinth (2008), and The Last Olympian (2009).
