Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece: Romance Dawn one-shot manga getting a TV anime special episode scheduled for broadcast on October 20th, 2019. Romance Dawn is a two stories which takes before One Piece but set in a similar world.

Oda published the first version of Romance Dawn one-shot was in the 1996 “Summer Special” Weekly Shônen Jump issue in August. The second version of “Romance Dawn” was published in Issue 41, 1996 of Weekly Shônen Jump. The one-shot manga was the prototype that would later become “One Piece”.

Eiichiro Oda launched One Piece manga in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine in July 19, 1997, with the chapters collected into 85 tankōbon volumes to date. Toei Animation premiere the anime show adaptation of the manga in 1999, in Japan. One Piece Manga has the most copies published for the same comic book series by a single author.

A role-playing video game adaptation of One Piece: Romance Dawn was in Asia on December 20, 2012 before being released in Europe on November 29, 2013 and February 11, 2014 in North America.

The game covers the first half of the series from Luffy’s early adventures in the East Blue to the battle at Marineford.
