Non Non Biyori Manga Gets 'New Anime Project'

A new Non Non Biyori anime show is in the works. The news was revealed in the manga’s 11th volume on Tuesday.

The news was also confirmed by the official website of the anime television series adaptation that of Atto’s comedy manga series had green-lit a new anime project which is now in the works.

Atto’s Non Non Biyori manga series began publication in Media Factory’s Monthly Comic Alive magazine in 2009. An anime television series adaptation produced by SILVER LINK aired in 2013, with the 2nd season following up in 2015. A 25-minute OAD episodes were produced for the special editions of the manga’s 7th and 10th volumes.

The manga takes place in the countryside, where the nearest bookstore is 20 minutes away by bicycle, a certain “Ju_p” magazine comes out on Wednesdays instead of Mondays, and the video rental store is 10 stations away.
