It’s getting more and more certain that Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire may appear in Tom Holland’s Spider-Man: No Way Home. Rumor has it that Garfield may have actually signed to make an appearance on the movie and Maguire still in talks with both studios. An image from the set of the new Spider-Man has hinted again that Garfield may be involved in the movie. The evidence comes from goodies gifted to the film crew to commemorate the end of the production of Spider-Man: No Way Home. As you can see below, one of the goodies is a t-shirt that features an image of Garfield’s first The Amazing Spider-Man film suit.
With Alfred Molina returning as Doctor Octopus, a role he will be reprising from Maguire’s Spider-man 2 and Jamie Foxx reprising his Electro role from Garfield’s Spider-Man: Far From Home. The film will likely introduce the pair as Spider-Men from an alternative reality. We already know that Benedict Cumberbatch will return as Dr. Stephen Strange which hints that the film will have multiverse elements in it. However, we will have to ask to take the news with a grain of salt since nothing has been confirmed yet.
Spider-Man: No Way Home is directed by Jon Watts and written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. It will stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker / Spider-Man, alongside Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Marisa Tomei, Jamie Foxx, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Alfred Molina. The superhero film Home is scheduled to be released in the United States on December 17, 2021, as part of Phase Four of the MCU. A fourth Spider-Man film is in development.
