Ahsoka Tano fans were ecstatic to learn that the character will finally make her live-action in the second season of The Mandalorian with Rosario Dawson playing the character. Now reports suggest that a Ahsoka Star Wars series is in development for Disney+.
The news was revealed by Daniel RPK (via CBR) who said on his Patreon that, “A Ahsoka Tano show of some kind is in development for Disney+.” Daniel has shared some reliable information in the past, but it will be wise to take the news with a grain of salt.
So far Ahsoka has only been seen in Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars: Rebels animated series. She made a voiceover cameo in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.
Ahsoka made her debut as the Padawan apprentice of Anakin Skywalker in the 2008’s animated film Star Wars: The Clone Wars. she’s also the protagonist of the eponymous novel Star Wars: Ahsoka. She was created by George Lucas and Dave Filoni. Dave is currently a writer, producer, and director on The Mandalorian.
