My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising to premiere December 20th, 2019.

The staff for My Hero Academia: HEROES RISING began streaming on Thursday a the anime movie new teaser trailer. The new promo video teases the arrival of the new villain. The anime film will apparently include a plot element of the final battle Kōhei Horikosh wanted to use for the manga. In addition, the My Hero Academia manga creator revealed that the movie might be the final My Hero Academia movie and that’s why he wants to give it his best.

Kenji Nagasaki is directing the anime film and Yosuke Kuroda returning to write the script. Yoshihiko Umakoshi will be in charge of character designs. The movie is being animated by BONES production.


TOHO animation began streaming the official trailer for the 4th season of the TV anime show adaptation of Kōhei Horikoshi‘s My Hero Academia (Boku no Hīrō Academia) manga series. The anime series official Twitter account also unveiled the shows new key visual and an October 12 premiere date for the series season 4.

The manga was adapted into an anime television series by Bones. Its first season aired in Japan from April 3 to June 26, 2016,[11] followed by a second season from April 1 to September 30, 2017, then a third season from April 7 to September 29, 2018,[12] and an animated film titled My Hero Academia: Two Heroes was released on August 3 of that year.

Kōhei Horikoshi debuted My Hero Academia (Boku no Hīrō Akademia) manga series in Weekly Shōnen Jump in July 2014. The first season of the anime television series adaptation aired from April 3 to June 26, 2016. The second season aired from April 1 to September 30, 2017. The manga series received a spinoff manga series titled Vilante – My Hero Academia: Illegals about quirk holders who fight crime without the hero association approval. The spinoff is by Furuhashi and Court Betten was launched in Shonen Jump GIGA in August 2016, before moving to the Shonen Jump+ App. An animated film titled My Hero Academia: Two Heroes was released on August 3 of that year.


A video game based on the anime, My Hero Academia: Battle for All, was released in Japan on May 19, 2016, for the Nintendo 3DS. The second video game, titled My Hero One’s Justice, was released for PLAYSTATION 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows on October 26, 2018.

Legendary Entertainment announced in October 2018, that the company had acquired the rights to produce a live-action adaptation of My Hero Academia.
