Warner Bros. Animation is reportedly developing a new Mortal Kombat animated film. The film, titled Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of the Realms, will be a direct to Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge. Kuai Liang being included as a new character can only mean that the animated film story will take place during Mortal Kombat II. In Mortal Kombat, Liang takes the mantle of Sub-Zero after his older brother, Bi-Han, was defeated in Mortal Kombat I by Scorpion.
Returning cast includes oel McHale as Johnny Cage, Jennifer Carpenter as Sonya Blade, Jordan Rodrigues as Lui Kang, Patrick Seitz as Scorpion and Hanzo Hasashi, Steve Blum as Sub-Zero, Artt Butler as Shang Tsung, Darin De Paul as Quan Chi, Robin Atkin Downes as Kano, David B.
