Moon Knight To Begin Shooting In August.

Reports suggesting that Marvel Studios looking to start shooting for the Moon Knight series this August. The news was shared by  Daniel Richtman on Twitter. Another rumor suggested that Marvel Studios was eyeing Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) to play the lead in the series. While both reports aren’t report confirmed, we know that Marvel and Disney are currently holding a casting call for the upcoming Disney+ series.

The MOON KNIGHT series was announced at this year Disney’s D23 Expo and will stream exclusively on Disney+. Marvel also unveiled the show’s official logo. The show will film in the UK. It was also revealed that Moon Knight amongst the shows that caused Disney to delay production on the Hawkeye series.

Created by Doug Moench and Don Perlin, Moon Knight (Marc Spector) first appeared in Werewolf by Night #32 (August 1975) as a villain. He was later reintroduced as a hero in Spectacular Spider-Man #22 and #23 (September/October 1978). Moon Knight was also a member of the Defenders for a brief period. A former boxer and U.S. Marine, he gained his superpowers after becoming the avatar of the Egyptian god, Khonshu.
