Mashin Sentai Kiramager’s new episodes will resume this June. A new scan of the TV program guide spotted by Jefuson has revealed that the Superhero Time 2020 will Return from hiatus in June. The Tokusatsu show went on hiatus due to the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak and the extended state of emergency in Japan. The Tokusatsu series will broadcast new episodes as the Japanese government is planning to remove the emergency in Tokyo and its neighboring prefectures.

TV-Asahi aired Mashin Sentai Kiramager Episode Zero while the series was on hiatus. The alternative episodes aired for the next three weeks. Episode Zero premiered on May 17, 2020. Mashin Sentai Kiramager’s Episode ZERO special was originally released in theaters. The special episode was followed by Directors’ Cut revamps of the series’ first two episodes.

Mashin Sentai Kiramager is the 44th season of the Super Sentai franchise and succeeded Kishiryu Sentai Ryusoulger.  The team made their debut in Mashin Sentai Kiramager Episode Zero movie. The Tokusatsu Film simultaneously screen with the release of RYUSOULGER VS LUPINRANGER VS PATRANGER film on February 8, 2020.

The franchise Twitter account released early this month the first look at Kirame Silver / Crystallia Takamichi. However, the account did not reveal when the new Kirame hero will make his debut. Crystallia Takamichi will be portrayed by Kohei Shoji.


Kiramager, also known as Machine Squadron Sparklingranger, official series debuted on March 8, 2020. It is also the first Super Sentai show in the Reiwa era in Japan. Yatsude Saburo is credited for the show’s original work. Takemoto Noboru is the director, and Koumura Junko is the screenwriter. Nakagawa Koutarou is in charge of the music composition and Fukuzawa Hirofumi is the action director. Hida Hiroshi is the series’ SFX director.

The Super Sentai series was created by manga artist Shotaro Ishinomori. The first Super Sentai Series titled “Himitsu Sentai Gorenger” aired in Japan from 1975 to 1977. The second series J.A.K.Q. Dengekitai was released in 1977.
