While fans patiently wait for a new Blade movie or TV show, Marvel has teased that a major announcement involving the vampire hunter will be revealed on the Marvel’s The Pull List” on June 11.

Marvel revealed the news with a banner that reads, “No compromise, no mercy,” featuring Blade wielding his two swords. Seems like we may be getting a new Blade series.

Created by writer Marv Wolfman and Gene Colan, Blade made his debut as a supporting character in The Tomb of Dracula #10 (July 1973). Blade, later on, received a 56-page solo story in the black-and-white showcase magazine Marvel Preview #3 (Sept. 1975).

Wesley Snipes played the character in 1998’s Blade film, Blade II (2002) and Blade: Trinity (2004). Sticky Fingaz then portrayed the character in the 2006 television series Blade.
