Marvel Allegedly Developing The Ultimates Live-Action Movie.

HN Entertainment reporting that Marvel Studios is exploring the idea of adapting Marvel The Ultimates into a film or television franchise.

According to the site, Marvel considering developing Al Ewing and Kenneth Rocafort version of the team which features Blue Marvel, Black Panther, Spectrum, Miss America and Captain Marvel as members instead of the first version by Mark Millar and features members from The Avengers team.

Ewing and Rocafort version of The Ultimates made their first appearance in Ultimates #1 (October 2015). The team was part of All-New, All-Different Marvel and Marvel NOW! relaunch. Team goal is to protect Earth and the larger universe from cosmic threats.

Mark Millar and Bryan Hitch first version of team appeared in The Ultimates #1 (March 2002), as part of the modern reimagining of the Avengers in Ultimate Marvel imprint. The team consists of Hawkeye, Captain America, Iron Man and Thor. They were later on joined by Bruce Banner (Hulk), Quicksilver, Scarlett Witch, Ant-Man , Black Widow and Valkyrie. The Marvel Cinematic Universe is directly influenced by Mark Millar’s Ultimates run.
