The Seven Deadly Sins manga will end next week with the series 310th chapter titled “Farewell, ‘The Seven Deadly Sins”. The news was announced on the 23rd issue of Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine which stated that Nakaba Suzuki’s manga will end in the next issue of the magazine slated on May 15.
Back in August Suzuki revealed that The Seven Deadly Sins (Nanatsu no Taizai) manga will be reaching it inclusion in “about a year,” after about 40 volumes’ worth of story and planning an ending worthy of a shōnen magazine. The author also teased that his next work may be a baseball manga.
Suzuki, who launched the original manga in Weekly Shōnen Magazine in 2012, said the manga will only get a sequel if the magazine’s editors are interested. Kodansha published 32nd volume of The Seven Deadly Sins (Nanatsu no Taizai) manga series on June 15.
The manga ending means the TV anime show will end this fall with the show’s 3rd season “The Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath of the Gods”. The anime will be directed by Susumu Nishizawa at Studio Deen with Rintarō Ikeda will handling the series composition. A-1 Pictures produced the first Seven Deadly Sins TV anime series adaptation that premiered in Japan in 2014 and 2015. The anime second season aired from January 13, 2018 to June 30, 2018. An anime film titled “The Seven Deadly Sins the Movie: Prisoners of the Sky” was released on August 18, 2018.
