Konami recently announced new Yu-Gi-Oh projects during the franchise’s Digital Next Livestream including Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel, the new game based on the series. Konami revealed that Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel will be avalaible for the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC via Steam, and mobile devices via iOS and Android.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel will have the same Master Rules as Yu-Gi-Oh! card game and trading card game. Additionally, Konami is planning to include Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel as an official event at the Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship. Master Duel will have a tutorial to help players understand the game. The game is the first in the franchise to support 4K resolution.
“Now that Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel will be available for consoles, we have prepared a tutorial within the game to make it easy to learn,” Senior Producer of development on digital Yu-Gi-Oh! games Kenichi Kataoka said. “Those who are new to the official card game/trading card game can also easily learn to play Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel as we’ve prepared a tutorial element within the game.”
Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel has no release date yet.
