It was believed that Robert Pattinson will replace Affleck as the new Batman, but Matt Reeves, the film director, recently revealed that THE BATMAN will be set in a different universe and will launch a new cinematic universe. This leaves rooms for Affleck to return the Dark Knight or for Warner Bros. to cast another actor in the role. It was also revealed that THE FLASH movie will restart DCEU and launch a new DC multiverse.
