Justice League members have made their way on the next HBO Max’s billboard after reports suggest that Warner Bros. planning to release the Snyder Cut on the streaming service. It was revealed yesterday that Zack Snyder will likely announce the release of his Justice League cut at the end of his Superman: Man of Steel watch party today.
However, the billboard doesn’t seem feature Ezra Miller’s The Flash. Jason Momoa’s Aquaman wearing his suit from the solo movie and not the Justice League. Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman, Henry Cavill’s Superman, Ray Fisher’s Cyborg and Ben Affleck‘s Batman seems to be the only members having their Justice League image used on the billboard. This could possibly mean that the Warner Bros. and HBO hinting the fact the DCEU movies will be available on the streaming service when it launches. And not the release of the Snyder Cut. But anything is possible at this point.
The film was originally planned two-part. The first part titled Justice League Part One was to be released in 2017, and the second film (under the name Justice League Part Two) intended to follow in 2019. However, Snyder stepped down to deal with the death of his daughter. The Avenger’s director Joss Whedon was hired to oversee the completion of post-production, including directing additional scenes written by himself.
Snyder’s version of the Justice League is rumored to be better than the theatrical version released by Warner Bros in 2017. Justice League bombed at the box office grossing around $657 million, with Warner Bros. reportedly losing $60 million. With an estimated production budget of $300 million, Justice League is one of the most expensive films ever made.
