Goblin Slayer spinoff novel to receive manga adaptation from Square Enix.

Square Enix’s Monthly Big Gangan magazine September issue has announced that a new manga based on Kumo Kagyu’s Goblin Slayer! Gaiden 2: Tsubanari no Daikatana (Daikatana of Singing Death) will begin serialization in Square Enix’s Manga Up! app on August 30. The new manga will be illustrated by Shо̄go Aoki. Goblin Slayer Gaiden 2: Tsubanari no Daikatana is a spin-off of the main Goblin Slayer! light novel series, written by Kumo Kagyu,

Kumo Kagyu and Noboru Kannatuki launch Goblin Slayer in SB Creative’s GA Bunko imprint from February 15, 2016 – present. The dark fantasy novel received a manga adaptation serialized by Kōsuke Kurose in the Monthly Big Gangan magazine from May 25, 2016 – present. The second adaptation manga by Masahiro Ikeno being serialized in the same magazine since September 15, 2017 – present. A prequel manga by Kento Eida runs in Young Gangan. A light novel adaptation written by Kumo Kagyu and illustrated by Shingo Adachi launched in March 15, 2018.

A 12 episode anime seriers produced by WHITE FOX ran from October 7 to December 30, 2018. Check out the promo video below. A new episode of the TV anime show adaptation of the dark fantasy novel titled “Goblin’s Crown” will be screened in Japanese theaters. in 2020.
