Bandai Namco Europe’s official Twitter account began streaming on Tuesday a new trailer for DRAGON BALL Z: KAKAROT featuring the Cell saga. The account also confirmed that Vegeta, Gohan and more Dragon Ball characters will be playable in the game.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot game will take place at least through the Cell Saga Gohan and Trunks will be included as playable characters. Gohan will be the main character for the Cell Saga story in the game and will have his own back story. In addition, Android 17 and 16 will both appear in the game with Android 16 also having her own backstory. Son Goku and Piccolo’s driver’s license episode will be included as a driving minigame. Akira Toriyama has said that the game will feature new untold side stories.
The September issue of Jump magazine recently announced that Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot video game will include a new female member of the Ginyu Force name Bonyo. The character is allegedly from the same planet as Jeice. The new character was personally designed by Toriyama himself.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC in 2020.
