Daredevil: Marvel Studio Wants Christopher Nolan For The Film Reboot.

Fans were hoping to see Matt Murdock appear in the MCU as Peter Parker’s lawyer in Spider-Man 3, but looks like Marvel Studio has something better planned for the Character. According to WGTC, the studio is planning a Daredevil live-action movie reboot.

A reliable source reportedly the site that Marvel Studio wants Christopher Nolan onboard as an executive producer. The Dark Knight Trilogy director will allegedly be involved in development and also oversee the Daredevil reboot‘s writing and directing. Marvel apparently wants Nolan to helm a number of their comic book franchise. The source says the Daredevil reboot will be R-rated if Kevin Feige decides to head in that direction with Deadpool 3.

Created by writer-editor Stan Lee and artist Bill Everett, Daredevil made his debut in Daredevil #1 published in April 1964. Rex Smith first portrayed the character in The Trial of the Incredible Hulk television movie released in 1989. Ben Affleck portrayed the character in the 2003’s Daredevil movie. Charlie Cox recently played the character in the Daredevil and The Defenders web-series on Netflix for the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
