The one-shot manga will focus on the Morse code sent to the kids at the orphanage.

The Promised Neverland manga will receive a 16-page one-shot manga from creator Kaiu Shirai and the series’ illustrator Posuka Demizuwith. The manga will have a color page and will center around the Minerva’s Code. Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine will publish the one-shot chapter on the magazine’s 44th issue on October 5.

In the manga, Minerva’s Code is Morse codes ex libris featured in William Minerva’s book as subtle messages to warn the orphanage of the secrets of the orphanages and dangers lurking and outside.

Shirai and Posuka Demizu released The Promised Neverland (Yakusoku no Nebārando) manga series in Weekly Shōnen Jump August 1, 2016. The original manga series ended on June 15, 2020. A anime series adaptation produced by CloverWorks premiered on January 10, 2019. The series second season will debut in 2021.
