Ryōji Hirano to draw the two chapter spinoff manga based on Koyoharu Gotouge series

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba original manga series may have ended but there’s a lot we still don’t know about some the series characters. Now thanks Shueisha will get to learn more about the flamboyant Kyōjurō Rengoku. The publishing company announced that Ryōji Hirano will compose a two chapter spinoff manga of Koyoharu Gotouge’s Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba manga centered around the Flame Hashira character.

Weekly Shonen Jump will publish the manga on October 12 and 17 in the magazine’s 45th and 46th issues. The short spinoff manga is tiled Kimetsu no Yaiba: Rengoku Gaiden.

Koyoharu Gotōge began serializing Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba In Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine on February 15, 2016. The final chapter of the manga was released 24th issue of Weekly Shonen Jump magazine published on Monday, May 17. A PlayStation 4 action game titled Kimetsu no Yaiba: Hinokami Keppūtan will be published in 2021.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime first season aired from April 2019 to September 28 for 26 episodes. Kyōjurō Rengoku will also feature in the Demon Slayer Movie – Infinity Train (Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train) set to premiere on October 16 premiere date.
