Director Promises a bigger Universe and larger Story were the stakes are higher than before.

Early this month the Star Wars official Twitter account announced that The Mandalorian season 2 will debut on Disney+ on October 30th. While fans still waiting for the first footage of the new season, Entertainment Weekly new images from the series second season. In addition, The Mandalorian and baby Yoda are also on the cover of the magazine fall issue.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN THE MANDALORIAN SEASON 2

The Mandalorian director has revealed to the magazine that the series second season will explore a wider story. He also teased that viewers will get to enjoy the relationship between Baby Yoda and Pedro Pascal’s character.

Speaking to EW, Jon Favreau revealed that “the new season is about introducing a larger story in the world.” The director said, “the stories become less isolated, yet each episode has its own flavor, and hopefully we’re bringing a lot more scope to the show.” Dave Filoni adds: “Everything gets bigger, the stakes get higher, but also the personal story between the Child and the Mandalorian develops in a way I think people will enjoy.”

Fans are more hyped about the season 2 as the show is rumored to feature the live-action debut of Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson), Bo-Katan Kryze (Katee Sackhoff), Sabine Wren, and Hera Syndulla.

The Mandalorian TV show premiered when Disney+ streaming service launched on November 12. Jon Favreau is the show’s executive producer with Taika Waititi, Dave Filoni, and Bryce Dallas Howard serving as producers of the show among others.
