Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan’s The Falcon and the Winter Soldier was supposed to launch phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe after Avengers: Endgame and Spider-Man: Far From Home concluded the 3rd phase. However, that does seem to look like the case anymore. A Twitter user posted an update of what looks like images of the Falcon and Winder Soldier revealing that the web-series’ fall debut date has been replaced by Dsiney+ with “Coming soon”.
NOW WAIT A DAMN MINUTE?!? COMING SOON?!?!!!!! HELLO?!!! 2020 SOON?!? pic.twitter.com/DFDttjDLAy— Ant-Cam #WhereIsJimmyWoo (@planetcameron) September 21, 2020
Disney+ new TV spot highlighting all the shows coming to the streaming service this year only featured WandaVision. This means Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany’s web-series will launch phase 4 of the MCU instead of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier like Marvel Studios planned.
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier series starring Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan as Falcon and Winter Soldier, respectively, was scheduled to premiere in late 2020 and will consist of six episodes. The show will introduce Mackie’s character as the new and introduces a new Captain America.
