Looks like Disney will introduce She-Hulk in the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) soon than fans anticipated. Our pals at Cosmic Book News are reporting that the character will make an appearance in WandaVision which will be coming this year before receiving her on Show on Disney+.
According to the reports, Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk will have a small role in WandaVision, and similar to her comic book counterpart will break the fourth wall. Disney announced last year August at the D23 expo that She-Hulk, also known as Jennifer Walters, will be receiving an original series from Marvel Studios and that the series featuring Bruce Banner’s cousin premiere on Disney+. It was later revealed that Jessica Gao will be the show’s head writer. Benedict Cumberbatch is also rumored to make an appearance as Doctor Strange in the final episodes of WandaVision.
SHE-HULK was created by writer Stan Lee and artist John Buscema. She made her first comics debut in Savage She-Hulk #1 (February 1980). She gained her superpowers after receiving an emergency blood transfusion from her cousin, Bruce Banner when she was caught in a near-fatal shooting. She-Hulk has been a member of the Avengers, the Fantastic Four, Heroes for Hire, the Defenders, Fantastic Force, and S.H.I.E.L.D.
A live-action film featuring Brigitte Nielsen as She-Hulk was planned in the early 1990s, with Larry Cohen as writer and director, but was never completed.
