Echo and Mockingbird will play supporting roles in the Disney+ series.

A recent casting call from the upcoming Disney+ Hawkeye series revealed that Iron-Man love interest and enemy, Madame Masque, will feature in a supporting role in Hawkeye. Now a new casting call spotted by Illuminerd suggesting that superhero Echo will make her Marvel Cinematic Studios in the Disney+ series.

The casting call for a character named “Malia”. The character is described as “deaf, Native American, First Nations, Indigenous and/or Latinx, independent, athletic and bright”.

In the comics, Echo, real name Maya Lopez, was raised by Kingpin after the crime lord killed her father Willie “Crazy Horse” Lincoln. She later joined the Avengers as Ronin. Maya is an Olympic-level athlete, concert-level pianist, strong martial artist, a highly skilled acrobat, a gifted ballerina and has photographic reflexes. She usually depicted as a supporting character of Daredevil.

Meanwhile, FandomWire reporting that Kevin Feige is looking to cast Mockingbird aka Bobbi Morse in Hawkeye. The highly trained S.H.I.E.L.D agent was portrayed by Adrianne Palicki in the second and third seasons of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. series, however, the site is reporting that Marvel Studios wants to recast the character with a new actress. Featuring Barton’s love interest in the series could spell trouble considering that he’s happily married two kids in the MCU.
