Black Widow will now premiere a year after the film’s official release date. Disney and Marvel Studios have announced that the film starring Scarlett Johansson will be moved from November 6 of this year to May 7, 2021. This will be the first time since 2009 that the studio hasn’t released a film.
Marvel Studios also pushed back Eternals from February 12, 2021, to November 5, 2021; and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings jumping from May 7, 2021, to July 9, 2021. Marvel has removed an untitled project which was set for Shang-Chi’s new date.
Sony Pictures also recently revealed that the studios will not release any of their major projects until the coronavirus outbreak is over. On the other hand, DC and Warner Bros. moved Wonder Woman 1984 to December 25th.
