‪DC Universe released on Tuesday two new posters for their live-action TV series adaptation of the Swamp Thing. The superhero horror show is executive produced by James Wan, Mark Verheiden, Gary Dauberman, and Michael Clear are, with Rob Hackett as co-producer. Verheiden and Dauberman wrote the script.‬

Virginia Madsen (Maria Sunderland) also revealed today that the show has wrapped filming. Madsen posted a shot of the first issue of the New 52 Swamp Thing comic book series on top of her set chair. In the New 52, Alec Holland’s transformation into Swamp Thing following his resurrection from death.

The Swamp Thing TV series Andy Bean and Derek Mears as Alec Holland / Swamp Thing, Crystal Reed as Abby Arcane, Maria Sten as Liz Tremayne, Jeryl Prescott as Madame Xanadu, irginia Madsen as Maria Sunderland, Will Patton as Avery Sunderland, Henderson Wade as Matt Cable, evin Durand as Jason Woodrue, Jennifer Beals as Lucilia Cable, Ian Ziering as Daniel Cassidy / Blue Devil, and Leonardo Nam as Harlan Edward. The TV show will premiere on May 31 on DC Universe streaming service.
