The CW has release a new trailer for the live-action adaptation of the Batwoman. The network announced on Wednesday that they had ordered the series, with Ruby Rose starring as Kate Kane best known as Batwoman. Rose made her first appearance in last year in Elseworlds, the Arrowverse crossover between Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.

Batwoman is directed by Marcos Siega from a script written by Caroline Dries, who also serve as the show executive produced alongside Geoff Johns, Sarah Schechter, Caroline Dries and Greg Berlanti. The series stars Ruby Rose as Kate Kane, Rachel Skarsten as lead villain Alice, Dougray Scott Cast As Jacob Kane, Meagan Tandy as Sophie Moore, Camrus Johnson as Luke Fox, and Nicole Kang as Mary Hamilton.
Batwoman was created by writer Edmond Hamilton and artist Sheldon Moldoff under the direction of editor Jack Schiff. She made her first appearance in DC Comics stories beginning with Detective Comics #233 (1956). she is a wealthy heiress who use her wealth and resources to fighting crime after being inspired by the Batman.
