The final issue sees Terry McGinnis as a wanted criminal.

For years fans have been asking for BATMAN BEYOND live-action movie or series since the animated series ended in 2001. Now DC has announced that Terry McGinnis comic book’s adventure will come to end this December. The December 2020 solicitations shows that Dan Jurgens’s current ongoing Batman Beyond series is scheduled to end on its 50th issue. DC released the cover drawn by Dan Mora and a variant to follow by Francis Manapul.

The finale of Dan Jurgens’s iconic run on Batman Beyond finds Terry McGinnis accused of crimes he didn’t commit! When one of his greatest rogues, the formidable Inque, poses as Batman and causes havoc around Gotham City, Wonder Woman will stop by to confront Batman Beyond. Will Terry be able to convince her that he’s innocent or will he find himself the enemy of one of the DC Universe’s greatest heroes? The epic conclusion of the series is here!

Batman Beyond (Batman of the Future) was created by Bruce Timm, Paul Dini, and Alan Burnett as a continuation of the Batman legacy. The animated series aired from 1999 to 2001.

BATMAN BEYOND #50 is written by DAN JURGENS with art by SEAN CHEN and SEAN PARSONS. The issue will go on sale December 22nd price at $3.99. The final issue will have 32 pages.
