A new key visual and promo video for CHIROLU’s If It’s for My Daughter, I’d Even Defeat a Demon Lord (Uchi no Ko no tame naraba, ore wa moshikashitara Maō mo Taoseru kamoshirenai.) light novel television anime series adaptation was unveiled on Sunday.
Maho Film producing the animation with Takeyuki Yanase as director. High School DxD’s Takao Yoshioka will write the anime series scripts. Hota., Miyako Nishida, Toshihide Masudate, and Kaho Deguchi are all working on the character designers and chief animation directors.
The opening theme song “I’m With You” will be performed by Kanon Takao (Latina in the anime), and Nobuhiko Okamoto (Dale in the anime) will perform the ending theme song “This is Yūsha, but Zannen!?.”
Chirolu launched the light novel online in August 2014 on the user-generated novel publishing website Shōsetsuka ni Narō. The novel was illustrated by Truffle until volume 2, where Kei took over as the series illustrator. The series later received a manga adaptation illustrated by Hota. The manga series has been serialized online via Kadokawa Shoten’s ComicWalker website since July 2016.

Dale is a cool, composed, and highly skilled adventurer who’s made quite a name for himself despite his youth. One day on a job deep in the forest, he comes across a little devil girl who’s almost wasted away. Unable to just leave her there to die, Dale takes her home and becomes her adoptive father. Devil or not, Latina is beyond adorable, and the adventurer soon finds himself head over heels with being a parent. But why was she out in the forest to begin with, and why does she carry the mark of a criminal?
