Given Manga TV Anime announced.

The TV anime show adaptation of Natsuki Kizu’s Given yaoi manga ongoing release on Thursday a new promotional video focusing on Ritsuka Uenoyama (voiced by Yūma Uchida). The show begins broadcast in Japan in July on Fuji TV’s Noitamina programming.

Masatomo Nakazawa as Haruki Nakayama (bassist)
Takuya Eguchi as Akihiko Kaji (drummer)

Lerche will animate the show with Hikaru Yamaguchi (Battle Spirits Double Drive) as director. Yuniko Ayana (Girls Beyond the Wasteland) wrote the scripts.

The manga has been serialized in Shinshokan’s Cheri+ magazine since 2013. The manga was adapted into an audio drama in 2016.

The “youth band story” centers on Ritsuka, who plays guitar but has lost interest in the instrument. One day, he meets Mafuyu, who is holding a broken guitar. Ritsuka unwillingly starts teaching Mafuyu the guitar, but when he hears Mafuyu’s voice, things suddenly begin to change for Ritsuka.
