Netflix will be bring more Dark Horse content to the streaming service. THR reporting that the streaming service has signed a first-look deal with Dark Horse Entertainment to develop new television shows and films based on Dark Horse comic book properties following the success of The Umbrella Academy and Polar.
“We are very excited about this new arrangement with the talented people at Netflix. We have strong creative relationships as well as a large content library to work with and, as we have seen with our recent projects, Netflix is the perfect partner to bring our stories to fans around the world,” Dark Horse founder and president Mike Richardson revealed.
Netflix and Dark Horse already working together to identify projects for the streaming site which will include horror, fantasy and family entertainment.
