The leaked teaser visual features members of class 1-B getting ready for the joint training with 1-B.

Yesterday we got words that the 5th season of My Hero Academia anime will debut in Spring 2021. A leak has now revealed the upcoming teaser visual for the new season. The key visual also confirms that the series will indeed begin broadcasting in Spring 2021. The scan seems to be from Weekly Shonen Jump Issue #44.

My Hero Academia Season 5 was announced back in May in issue #19 of Weekly Shonen Jump. TOHO Animation later released a 15 seconds teaser video. The series 5th season will continue the “Joint Training Arc” in which students from class 1-A and 1-B face each other.

Kōhei Horikoshi debuted My Hero Academia (Boku no Hīrō Akademia) manga series in Weekly Shōnen Jump in July 2014. The first season of the anime television series adaptation aired from April 3 to June 26, 2016. The second season aired from April 1 to September 30, 2017. The manga series received a spinoff manga series titled Vilante – My Hero Academia: Illegals about quirk holders who fight crime without the hero association approval. The spinoff is by Furuhashi and Court Betten was launched in Shonen Jump GIGA in August 2016, before moving to the Shonen Jump+ App.

There’s apparently a My Hero Academia spinoff anime series in development.
