While anime fans are eagerly waiting for the next season of Nakaba Suzuki’s The Seven Deadly Sins (Nanatsu no Taizai), manga fans will have to say goodbye to the series soon. According to Twitter user Spytrue, the latest chapter of the manga released in Japan has teased the series possible ending on the next issue of Weekly Shonen Magazine. Which means the anime will be shorter than most fans expected.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath of the Gods will be directed by Susumu Nishizawa at Studio Deen. Rintarō Ikeda will handle the series composition.

Nakaba Suzuki debuted the original manga series in Weekly Shōnen Magazine in 2012.A-1 Pictures produced the first Seven Deadly Sins TV anime series adaptation that premiered in Japan in 2014 and 2015. The anime second season aired from January 13, 2018 to June 30, 2018. An anime film titled “The Seven Deadly Sins the Movie: Prisoners of the Sky” was released on August 18, 2018.
