Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has released the first look at Superman: Man of Tomorrow, DC Comics’ next animated movie based on the DC Universe. The upcoming animated direct-to-video film produced by Warner Bros. Animation and DC Entertainment will is set for release in 2020.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the animated movie sees “Clark Kent working as an intern for the Daily Planet and learning on the job how to save the city of Metropolis.” Chris Palmer serves as director, Tim Sheridan will serve as the screenwriter, and Butch Lukic serves as supervising producer.
Superman: Man of Tomorrow stars Darren Criss as Kal-El / Clark Kent / Superman, Alexandra Daddario as Lois Lane, Zachary Quinto as Lex Luthor, Ike Amadi as Martian Manhunter, Ryan Hurst as Lobo, Brett Dalton as Parasite, Neil Flynn as Jonathan Kent and Bellamy Young as Martha Kent.
Superman: The Man of Tomorrow (MOT) ran for 16 issues from 1995 to 1999. Superman: Man of Tomorrow is set to release this Summer on digital, Blu-ray, 4K Ultra HD, and DVD.
