After the first look at Jim Carrey as Robotnik for Paramount Pictures’ “Sonic the Hedgehog” live-action hybrid movie adaptation leaked yesterday, we finally have the first official trailer for the movie. The movie official Twitter account also revealed a brand now posters for the CGI animated live-action slated for release on Nov. 15, 2019.

Sonic the Hedgehog is directed by Jeff Fowler. The film features Ben Schwartz (Duck Tales, Parks and Recreation) as the voice Sonic, James Marsden, Tika Sumpter, and Jim Carrey. Neal H. Moritz and Tim Miller (Deadpool) will be the film executive producing, along with Toby Ascher. Patrick Casey and Josh Miller will write the film scripts. Dmitri Johnson and Dan Jevons are co-producing the project.

Sonic the Hedgehog was first released by Sega for arcades in 1991. The game has since spawned several animated series and comic book tie-ins.
